Friends of the Library Book Discussion Groups

The Friends of
the Library run two different book discussion groups each month. READ (Read
Enjoy and Discuss) reads a single book and shares the job of discussion leader.
The books are picked from the entire spectrum of writing: classics, non-fiction,
recent publications in all different genres. READ meets on the second Wednesday
of the month at 7 p.m. in the Library's Yorba Room

October 13 - Finding Nouf by Zoe Ferraris


Who Done It? Is the mystery (crime fiction) group. Themes for discussion vary from certain authors to specific locations or various subjects and settings. This group meets in the Library Community Room at 2 p.m. on the 4th Monday of the month.

Description:
Under direct supervision, shelves library materials and assists with library specific clerical work on a part-time basis. Duties vary depending on assigned division. Must work a set schedule including evenings and every Saturday.
Qualifications:
This position requires physical ability to push and pull carts with a force of up to 20 pounds; reach to shelf heights of seven feet; stoop, squat and lift books, boxes and other objects up to 25 pounds. Applicant must be a minimum of 15 years of age with a work permit.
